Summit Riverside Apartments

I'm a person who has severe sensory issues especially when it comes to lights and noise and before I applied to this apartment complex I always make sure to ask how quiet the neighbours are. This is a *huge* factor for me because I get easily overwhelmed and panicked when there's lots of noise around. The kind property lady said that they haven't heard any noises or knew of any complaints. I kid you not, right when I moved in the first week my neighbour has been blasting their bass and surround-sound movies everyday since I've moved in. My headphones haven't blocked out the noise, nor do earplugs. It's also a health-hazard to be wearing noise-cancelling earplugs all day and night. I shouldn't be able to feel my couch vibrant with how loud the music is, or clearly hear the lyrics to their songs. We've sent in an email with a complaint and haven't heard back and it's been a week. It's no wonder they don't ever get any complaints, because they rarely see or respond to their tenant's emails. I was promised a mostly quiet apartment unit because of my anxiety disorder and I was completely lied to. This apartment has been the worst I've lived in noise-wise. Not only that, but we also have to pay for monthly parking, in the regular uncovered spots. Something that should be free for tenants to begin with. Ontop of all that, this is one of the smallest and overpriced 1 bed 1 bath apartments I've rented. My previous apartment was larger for the same unit type and was $400 cheaper. We're not even living in Denver. I cannot wait until the lease is up and we can afford a bigger apartment, or better yet a quiet house.
