Not a true "ultra luxurious" building to today's standards vs. now completed, newer modern luxury buildings down the street that offers more luxurious amenities. Not surprising to see many units vacant for months. Then they informed us that they were renovating the building and the upgrade will provide the best living experience to us valued tenants. However, only front of the building was renovated so it was misleading. There are issues inside the building.
- Elevator is outdated. Elevator room in garage is full of water leaks and rust
- Garage leaks during heavy rainfalls
- Community space is still closed and unusable (I offered the idea to the management to turn this into a gym since it is next to the pool if they want to be a luxury building)
- Roof deck - no access, would be a great sun deck with lounge chairs for the tenants to enjoy Santa Monica Views
- Call box does not work sometimes
- Website says there is a sauna, but I have yet to see it nor have access to it
- Hallways have old ugly concrete flooring around courtyard with cracks, I was told that they will be doing some work. That never happened.
- One of my baths had issues with leaks 3 times in past year
Neighbors are great tho. Would I have chosen another place? Probably yes but I don't have the energy or time to move again. This building has so much potential if they just keep up updates and that truly offer luxurious value to tenants. It was a luxurious building in 1980s, but the building is just still outdated today.
