I would not recommend renting a property from Beverly Hills Properties in general, but especially not 2110 4th Street in Santa Monica. The property manager, Anya, monitors tenants guests via the security cameras on the property and her own in-apartment nanny cam, and monitors tenants' mail, among other intrusive practices.
Anya, the property manager, watches the tenants through her own personal nanny cam in her apartment. She will scold tenants and their guests for jumping in the pool (feet first) and for eating or drinking around the pool on the lounge chairs and at the tables.
Anya and Beverly Hills Properties sent a notice to tenants on June 20, 2022 stating that tenants' guests are no longer allowed to use the pool. The relevant portion of the notice reads: "tenants are not allowed to provide outside individuals with access to the premises, which includes the parking garage, pool area and other facilities." In addition, as of Summer 2023, management has thrown away the pool chairs.
Anya will also monitor the mail/packages you get, guests you have over, and friends you allow to use your parking space. In addition, if you request a new parking space, you will be told no, even if there are open spots.
Over all, very difficult management. I would think twice before moving in here.
