While pets are allowed at our community, residents must notify the Executive Director if they wish to bring a pet to the community. The necessary paperwork will be completed, and the required non-refundable pet fee paid. No more than two pets allowed per apartment home. A copy of the pet’s current vaccination records is also required prior to move-in and must be maintained annually. Our community reserves the right to deny any pet that might disturb or present a threat to other residents, prior to or after move in. Aggressive breeds are not permitted on the community property. These breeds include but are not limited to: Rottweiler, Doberman Pinscher, Pit Bull Terrier; American Staffordshire Terrier, German Shepherd, Chow, Akita, Alaskan malamutes, Wolf-hybrid, or any mix thereof. Pets shall not exceed the restricted weight limit of approximately 50 pounds.   Pets must be on a leash at all times when they are outside the owner’s apartment. Due to sanitation regulations, pets (excluding service animals) are not allowed at any scheduled activity program or where food is being served and may have limited access to common areas or pool areas. Also, due to sanitation and pet allergies, pets are prohibited from being on community furniture. A pet park is provided for residents use with pets. Residents shall follow the rules provided or posted by the community. Use of the pet park is at resident’s own risk. It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after their pet should it soil on the grounds. Residents who do not properly clean up after their pet may be required to remove the pet from the property or may result in the resident being asked to vacate his/her apartment.   Resident is responsible for any injury or damages to persons, other animals, or property caused by the animal or to the animal. If you have family members or guests that bring pets to the community, it is the resident’s responsibility to notify them of our pet policy. Residents who have pets are responsible for the cost of carpet and pad replacement upon move out.
