Adagio on the Green

I have lived in this community for almost 3 years. Everyone seems nice and friendly. I specially enjoy my apartments location, which is one of the best in the complex. I'm very fortunate that I was able to rent this place. My apartment overlooks the golf course, which has a creek in between. It is wonderful to see all the nature and wildlife, especially the family of Egrets that nest in the trees overlooking the creek. It doesn't even seem like I live in the city, but a park instead. The maintenace team is very helpful and friendly. I have no complaints about the office management team, as they have been very nice. Although, it appears the staff has changed quite a bit during my time living here.

Overall, it's been a decent experience living here, but definitely not the 5-star luxury apartment experience we were promised. Several amenities fall short of expectations. The pools and Jacuzzis aren’t consistently heated through the winter—only one Jacuzzi (at the main pool) is warm, if that. Maintenance can be slow; for example, several building doors were missing doorknobs for over three months before they were finally fixed. The parking lot gate, which is supposed to help protect residents’ vehicles, was broken for more than six months without being addressed. We've also dealt with lost packages and repeated issues with the electronic mailroom lockers malfunctioning. We’ve reported a persistent pest issue on our balcony, and all that was done was placing traps—yet we still get charged monthly for "pest control" as part of our rent. There's also a lack of enforcement regarding cleanliness and community standards. People frequently leave dog waste around the property and smoke right outside our balcony, leaving cigarette butts behind. We also had to complain last summer about the AC not working in the gym’s weight room, and this summer there are weights missing from the gym that still haven’t been replaced. For what we pay, we expected timely maintenance, better cleanliness, and reliable access to the amenities advertised—especially the heated pools and Jacuzzis. Unfortunately, too many things feel neglected or handled cheaply.
