1) Office Staff is not friendly or welcoming, after you join. Just interested in arguing but not in discussing or understanding 2) Very poor resolution of service requests - The issues are endless, but I can give few examples - Raised a request for Patio light as it is not working. Someone came after few days, replaced the bulb and closed the issue as resolved and completed. My issue is still not resolved as there is no light - agree they replaced a new bulb, but there is no electricity supply, so it is of no use. When I went in person, staff just argued with me asking me to leave immediately and raise another request. I've raised 3 requests after that, all of them are closed as resolved, but still there is no light. Microwave oven is optional - they will not tell you this up front but charge the same rent. Laundry (washer/dryer) not working for more than 2 weeks and no one would like to proactively fix - there is no reply when I send an email. When I raised a request, as usual they closed it is as resolved with a message "We do not own or service the laundry equipment. The is a service number on the machines that we need to call for service. Residents are able to call this number as well". They won't tell you this at the time of joining. Equipment was not the issue, all machines are off for some reason. They don't want to check or reply politely 3) Trash is very expensive - You must pay for trash pickup from your apartment and trash pickup from the community which is generally more than $80 per month. Received email that Gym is closed for maintenance 5 months back and no update after that. Swimming pool is not useful in winter anyway - there is no indoor pool. Without having amenities, you still need to pay each month 4) Your emails will be simply ignored without any reply as they are not important. There is only one-way communication 5) Not getting itemized rental bills even after 5 months and can't check old bills. You are expected to pay whatever is posted.
