I moved into my unit on 12/13/25 and have encountered several issues that were not addressed during the pre-move-in inspection.
• Move-In Condition: The apartment unit was not clean, what-so-ever. The inspection report noted vomit on the patio wall yet the unit was approved as “good.” This was a major health violation and it was cleaned 4 days after my move-in day. The unit also has extensive paint splatter on floors, cabinets, baseboards, and walls from the painting crew. I requested corrections on 12/15/25 and was given paint to correct it myself.
• Appliance Problems: Washer control panel detached when I started the washer.
• Oven failed to turn off after initial use, creating a serious safety hazard. I contacted the leasing office immediately, but the response was unhelpful and lacked empathy. Maintenance resolved it. (George was so friendly and understanding.)
• Gate Functionality: The last few months since the propped gate has been worked on, it failed more than 5 times. I’ve had to go to the Leasing Office twice to ask them to prop the gate open, other times I just parked outside and walked in which risked my car being broken in. I pay a lot of money in rent and the fact that it’s taking months for the gate to function properly is outrageous.
• Trash Vallet: My trash was not picked up last night (Thursday) and this is not the first, nor the second time this has happened. If this is a mandatory payment fee, it should be consistent with the rules and agreement. I am requesting a reimbursement for this month’s charge for the Trash Vallet.
• Key Fob Access: My neighbors and I have noticed our key fobs don’t work for all buildings/all doors/common areas. This is a huge issue since we are paying for access to the complex and amenities.
Since my move in date (4 months ago) I have submitted 22 maintenance requests.
