Some examples of public schools in the area include Charlton, Lorna Jackson, Maple Creek, Blue Willow, Fossil Hill, Yorkhill, Ventura Park, Emily Carr Secondary School, Vaughan Secondary School, and École élémentaire catholique Le-Petit-Prince. Post-secondary institutions in the city and surrounding areas include the RCC Institute of Technology, which offers programs in business, technology, and design; as well as Brooklyn College, Thompson Career College, Evergreen College, and Seneca College in Markham. Vaughan is home to Canada’s Wonderland, a 130-hectare theme park that features a number of rides, waterslides, rollercoasters, and attractions.
