MILTON, ONTARIO
Over 110,000 people call the city of Milton home and live within its more than 363 square kilometre area. Located in the southeastern portion of the province, Milton is bordered by the communities of Burlington. There are a number of conservation areas and greenspaces in the city, allowing residents to escape city life and enjoy the great outdoors through hiking, camping, and other activities. Public transportation in and outside of the city, as well as a major highway running through the city, makes it easy for residents to travel to neighbouring communities.
Real Estate Market Overview
House prices in Milton are above mid-range, with averages around $500,000 to $800,000. Milton’s northern section is predominantly large, higher priced single-family homes (detached and semi-detached).The central section of the city offers a mix of newer and older single-family homes, as well as newer condo options. Various examples of commercial space and high-priced vacant land can also be found in this section. In the southern section of the city, newer built single-family homes are most common, along with newer built condo buildings.

Rattlesnake Point is a large park where visitors can camp, hike, birdwatch, rock climb, cross-country ski, go geocaching, and participate in events such as yoga in the park.The park is used year-round and includes beautiful trails, stunning lookout points, fascinating plant and animal species, and a variety of recreational opportunities. The Milton Sports Centre has a fitness studio, two pools, a gymnasium, an indoor walking/jogging track, four ice rinks, meeting rooms, a banquet room, and a children’s activity room. Programs offered at the centre include skating, swimming, fitness, soccer, cycling, arts, and kids’ summer camps. Residents can choose from drop-in activities or registered programs.
