Brampton is a city in the province of Ontario. It is located in the Greater Toronto Area between the cities of Mississauga, Caledon and Vaughan. It has been called “The Flower Town of Canada” because of the greenhouse industry in the city. It is the ninth largest city in Canada,population of many different ethnicities. The two English language school boards in the city are the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board which operates the Catholic English schools. There are also two French language school boards in the city called Conseil scolaireViamonde and Conseil scolaire de district Catholique Centre-Sud,whichoperates the French Catholic schools in the area. For students looking to attend a post-secondary institution, there are two options in the city:Algoma University at Brampton and Sheridan College. There are also other options close by such as the University of Toronto, Humber College and CIMT College Malton Campus.
Family Life
There is plenty of fun for the whole family in Brampton. The city has many splash pads all around for kids to play during summer.
