I've lived in this bldg. 19 years now. I've seen several property mgmt. Co.'s come and go. While I'm mostly impressed by the staff and efforts of Maddox since their arrival, there are issues which leave room for improvement.
The ongoing facade project has been incredibly disruptive and a significant inconvenience to tenants at 115 & 135 Tyndall. The contractors have frequently disregarded their mandate and created excessive noise in the early hours. The constant construction noise throughout the day, lack of access to balconies, windows for fresh air and air conditioning, elimination of guest parking and mediocre quality of work is discouraging. I was very disappointed to learn that the repair and paint efforts to the bldg would not include the floor of our balconies. It seems that the aesthetic of the bldg was only considered as far as what is visible from the ground to people outside of the bldg.
I would like to see the garbage, recycling and organics bins relocated to a more sensible area for access from both buildings in the larger lot behind 135. To have collection services navigate the corner of the smaller lot at 115 to collect waste from both buildings defies sensible logistics to my mind. They could be better postioned in the north east corner of the 135 lot and be a straight shot from Tyndall Ave. for collection vehicles and distanced from tenants units.
I am very disappointed with the laundry facility project at 115. Our laundry facilities were inaccessible for 2 months, only to have the same frequently malfunctioning aged equipment reinstalled and only a paint job as the "improvement"
This being said I recognize the efforts of Maddox staff and am grateful for their hard work and success and maintaining a clean and safe environment for tenants
