Torbay Road Apartments

I find that they take a long time to respond to complaints. The laundry card machine was down since November of last year through winter. Its back now. I would put in a request for maintenance that would go nowhere.

Since the change in management at 40 St Laurent Street (170 Torbay), the level of service has noticeably declined. The new manager's demeanor is not friendly, and she often quickly assumes that tenants are at fault without proper investigation. This approach to communication is far from ideal. Previously, during the winter, we had excellent support from Dona, the former manager, who made sure to provide three to four shovels for clearing snow in both parking areas. This service was very helpful and appreciated by all the tenants. Unfortunately, this winter, the service quality has significantly dropped under the new management team. Although Killiam reportedly has shovels available for tenant use during heavy snowfalls, the new manager did not provide them, stating that her boss did not allow it. The management team is no longer as friendly or supportive as before, leading to a decline in overall service quality.
