Just off Warwick Boulevard at Yeardley Drive in Newport News, Virginia
Unique to Hampton Roads, our brick, colonial style, court-type residences provide the luxuries of a fine apartment with the space and privacy available only in single-family homes. The first thing you'll notice is our beautiful brick construction. Newly and extensively renovated, it's the kind workmanship rarely seen in the rental marketplace. The soft colors and coach lanterns evoke colonial time and a more leisurely pace of life.
The Jamestown Apartments offers a variety of floor plans: one, two, and three bedroom units. All of the two bedroom apartments, designed in townhouse style, offer one and a half baths. Each residence has a private patio or balcony, one, two or three bedrooms, a large living area and a well-equipped kitchen.
If you enjoy a nice stroll, The Jamestown Apartments offers easy access to The Noland Trail, a five mile trail following the shoreline of Lake Maury. Just down the road you'll find Hilton Village, featuring quaint, locally-owned shops and services. Also located within a short drive is Christopher Newport University, The Ferguson Center for the Arts, the renowned Mariners' Museum and a variety of shopping venues such as Port Warwick, City Center, and Patrick Henry Mall.

I have lived here 7 years going on 8 years. Private, small complex of townhouses & garden apartments off Warwick Blvid, and hidden behind Warwick Blvd. Great location with easy access to all shopping and interstate roads and main streets. Well maintained grounds with regular upgrades by maintenance and managements. Quiet and private location with new privacy fences behind townhouses. Multi-cultural community. There are long time residents, military families, and some short term renters. Manager, T.White, has done a great job to solve problems for residents. Front desk has high turn over of employees. Very nice salt pool in summer and small but adequate fitness center, 24/7. Solid original wood floors throughout 2 level townhouses. Tile floors in kitchen and bathrooms. Real brick backsplash in kitchen. Residents are low moderate income to moderate income, however, the rents are too high for some residents. Generally, I would give it a 4 Stars out of 5 Stars rating.

This place is a joke! It's incredible how they don't have the staff to offer customer service. No one is in the office to take phone calls and just one person to do maintenance. I've been calling for a week and nobody answer the phone or return the call and three's not talk about the overcharges on the water bill

I can hear everything through the walls. I can smell things through the walls of the apartment next to me. Concerns are not answered in a timely manner unless you write a public review. There's weed butts EVERYWHERE. I am responsible for my own patio maintenance. I write in maintenance requests to call me at least 24 hours before entering my apartment so that I can put my dog away...they never do. They come anyway and leave a note. Doors were painted shut when I moved in. Was given two weeks to make a decision about renewing my lease. Should have the option to go month-to-month after first year. Unfortunately, I'm stuck for another year AND my rent is increasing. Overall, not a great experience. This place would be worthless if not for the location.
