Great housing for college student

I am renting a duplex with two roommates, and it’s perfect for us! We are able to host friends at our place, abd we all have plenty pf space for ourselves. Maintenance is very timely with needed repairs, as well!

Valley Home

Valley home duplexes are a nice and affordable place to live. The living unit is pretty standard although decent for the money. The neighbors are wonderful and very friendly. It feels like a very safe place to live and everyone looks out for each other.

Ridiculous policies

The overall experience with Goldmark was good but the one thing that really aggravated me is that they expect a 60 day notice when you're leaving. That is insane to me. Who knows whats going to happen in 60 days!? Also, everywhere I've ever been if you sign a lease and don't renew it or let management know you're staying 30 days prior it's common knowledge that you plan to leave when the lease is up! However with Goldmark you'll be slapped with a "improper notice" and charged $300 OR if the unit doesn't get rented you're responsible for the whole month. Example: I let management know we would be leaving when our lease was up (3/31/2021) on February 23rd 2021. We were out 3/15/2021 waiting to hear if the duplex is rented or if we're going to have to pay April. It's not listed on any of the sites so I hope it's rented. I'll update when I know!
