Verified Resident

We were disappointed with our experience with this realtor and the way the rental property was presented to us. We signed the lease without an in-person viewing based on a FaceTime walkthrough provided by the realtor. Unfortunately, the video quality was poor and did not clearly show the condition of the home, which resulted in several issues becoming apparent only after move-in.
When clients rely on a virtual showing, it is especially important for a realtor to be transparent and thorough. In our case, several material conditions were not disclosed. The kitchen floor is bubbling and peeling, the glass cooktop has a noticeable gouge, and the oven interior shows significant wear, with damaged enamel consistent with heavy scratching.
The bathroom fixtures also show visible damage. The toilet seat and surrounding surfaces are scratched and gouged, suggesting improper or abrasive cleaning methods, which should have been addressed prior to leasing.
Additionally, the carpets were not in a clean condition at move-in and had a persistent odor. We shampooed them during the first week, and the water was extremely dark with a strong odor. The upstairs carpeting also appears very old and dated. These conditions were not mentioned during the virtual showing.
These issues should have been clearly communicated before we signed the lease. Based on our experience and the lack of disclosure regarding the property’s condition, we would not recommend renting from this company.
