Reviews summary
Colonial Apartments generally receive positive feedback for their quiet atmosphere and convenient location near downtown and Flint Township, making them appealing to families and professionals who value accessibility and a peaceful environment. Some residents, who have lived there for several years, highlight well-maintained buildings and grounds, contributing to a pleasant living environment. However, there are mixed experiences with the maintenance services; while emergency repairs are often handled swiftly, routine maintenance requests can be significantly delayed, which has been a frustration for some tenants. Additionally, while most neighbors are reported as friendly, there is occasional concern about privacy. Overall, the apartments are appreciated for their quiet setting and scenic surroundings, suitable for those looking for a calm place with basic amenities.

Lived here 10:years. Beautiful location & site. Usually very quiet & no problems. Great value. Building & grounds well matained. Response to emergency repairs good. Response to routine maintenance delayed & frustrating. Current mgr and maintenance man good—previous ones & other staff have been spotty. This is a good place to live and could be much better if the routine maintenance response was prompt & effective.

Colonial Apts are a great place to live. . .as long as you can tolerate long delays in getting repairs fixed around your apartment. I have lived here for 10 years and dont think I could find a better value in terms of affordablility for amount of living spce. I have a 2 BR apt, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, and bathroom for a very reasonable rent. It suits my needs as a single person very well. The buildings are in good condition and the grounds sre well-maintained. There arent really any “amenities,” except a storage area and laundry hook-ups in the bssement (you provide your own washer & dryer), but that’s a good trade-off for value. The apartments are very quiet, and are in a spicturesque setting with trees and and a scenic courtyard. The location—right on Main St in Flushing is very convenient. Downtown and Pierson Road are less than a mile away. It is also great for walking since there sre sidewaks along Main St. The only reservation I would have about recommending Colonial Apts is slow maintenance response times. Usually I have to make several requests online and/or by phone to get something fixed. That can be very frustrating.
