The Uptowne Apartments

I actually enjoy living in my one bedroom apartment. It is very close to campus! The apartments are spacious and have all that I need. I wished that there were parking for guests that come over. The laundry room is also too small for the building and getting packages can be tricky without a mailroom. Still, these are issues I navigate around.

Parking runs out nightly so if you dont get a spot you have to park in the church and might get a ticket (uptowne). The gym has had faulty equipment for 2 years and you need to pay to use the pool (also super far). Maintenance is slow and communication is slower. Dont be shocked if they leave a message theyre coming into ur space day of.

Good location, good value. This building is poorly maintained and there is little to no communication from staff or leasing office. Noisy neighbors. Trash cans lining the hallway at all times. Expensive Laundry. Doors keep on breaking because the door closer hinge has been busted for years. In conclusions, more complaints than positives, but the price is fine. If they raise it too much I'll likely move.
