Arbor Lakes

POOL CLOSED: It is extrememly sad to report that on July 22nd, 2026, Arbor Lakes swiftly closed down our swimming pool, possibly for the rest of the pool season, due to the fact that according to our Property Manager, they did NOT renew their Pool License. It's a disgrace that a large Corporation would not renew a pool license. They have no regard for all of the residents that use the pool on a daily basis, especially us retired folks. It was abrubtly closed and all we got was an email stating that the pool was closed until further notice. No explantion whatsoever. According to one of the Leasing Agents, it may be closed for the rest of the season. Great transparency!!! In addition, no attention is being paid to the upkeep of the pool. This year (1st time in the 25 years I've been living here), there was a large outbreak of Black and Green Algae growing all over the pool walls. It's been like this for weeks and nothing was done. We would all look at it and say how disgusting it looked!! I hope this is not dangerous. In addition, there are lots of pool tiles missing and lots of cracks in the cement around the pool area. They had plenty of time to repair these issues before the pool opened up but they chose to ignore these problems. I'm extremly upset and disappointed in Arbor Lakes Management. They are dropping the ball!!!

I’ve truly enjoyed living here. This is the second time we’ve chosen this community, and our experience has been consistently positive. The location is excellent, conveniently situated at the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Wilke Road, making commuting and daily errands easy. The community is pet-friendly and offers beautiful, scenic surroundings. One of the biggest advantages for us was the availability of short-term lease options, including a four-month lease, which perfectly suited our needs.
