Lot of communication and follow up before you sign but it definitely dwindles afterwards. Upkeep on the inside is minimal. Maintenance staff and process is lacking knowledge of all and any maintenance. Emergency work orders (i.e., no air conditioning mid July, where inside temperatures reached 100) are not taken seriously and reimbursement for lack of urgent response, follow up, or care was a joke. Rent is increasing 300 dollars a month for "increase in service fees." The "recreational" activities from our neighbors seeps through the walls. The neighborhood has become obnoxiously loud with blaring music. The only time I have heard from FirstKey personally has been this month through 4 phone calls asking to renew my lease. If your desperate and need a temporary living situation, FirstKey will do but don't plan on staying long or receiving service to help you "unlock more" in your life.

Communication within renting company is seriously lacking unless they are renewing your lease. Maintenance requests take an excessive amount of time to get addressed. Property not in the best shape when moving in, but no offer to correct the issues (i e busted floor). Surrounding property land (and now new properties) sold to an HOA so will probably be kicked out next year with no notice that renewal will not be an option. They don't care or maintain their properties or care about their residents.
