1. Approved Pets
Not every animal is a fit for every space. Our current requirements include:
Types: Primarily domesticated dogs and cats. Small caged animals (birds, hamsters) are permitted with prior written approval.
Quantity: A maximum of [1] pets per unit.
Breed Restrictions: Management Discretion
2. Fees & Deposits
To cover the extra wear and tear that comes with paws and claws:
Pet Deposit: A deposit of $250 is due upon move-in.
Pet Rent: $75 per month, per pet.
3. Resident Responsibilities
Being a pet parent comes with a few ground rules:
Leash Policy: Pets must be on a leash at all times when in common areas or outdoors.
Waste Management: Owners are strictly required to pick up after their pets immediately. Failure to do so may result in a fine billed to tenant.
Behavior: Pets should not cause "undue noise" (excessive barking) or exhibit aggressive behavior toward other residents or staff.
Health: All pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and flea/tick prevention.
4. Damages
While we expect a little shed hair here and there, the pet owner is 100% responsible for any damage to flooring, walls, or landscaping caused by their pet. Any repair costs exceeding the pet deposit will be billed to the resident.
