The landlord, in turn, needs to give 30 days’ notice before raising the rental rate, and can terminate the lease if the tenant does not report a criminal record on their lease, in which case the tenant has 10 days to vacate the premises. Landlords are not allowed to restrict housing opportunities from potential tenants for discriminatory reasons.
