I’ve lived here for over three years and was mostly satisfied under the previous management. However, the new management has been a major disappointment.
The biggest issue has been severe noise from an upstairs neighbor — heavy stomping and vibrations through the hollow floors that feel like repeated impacts. This has caused me daily headaches and aggravated my service-connected CPTSD. Despite providing 25+ recordings, two sheriff reports, and a VA specialist letter, management refused to enforce the lease rules or issue even one formal notice to the neighbor.
They also rejected multiple reasonable settlement offers while I had an active court case. I am a veteran paying premium rent who simply wanted the quiet enjoyment promised in the lease. The lack of responsiveness and support has been very disappointing.
The building itself is nice and the location is convenient, but the current management’s unwillingness to address legitimate resident concerns is a serious problem.
I would not recommend this complex under the current management.

We have lived here for almost seven years. It's a quiet neighborhood and residents are friendly. The property is well maintained if any maintenance issues arise, they are taken care in a timely manner. The Staff are friendly and professional. I do recommend Highland Park Apartments for those who enjoy apartment living. It's a beautiful neighborhood.
