Rent is cheap, that is quite frankly the only reason we live here. The apartment upkeep is bare minimum, the grass mostly stays mowed, and other than that I dont see much else being done. Lots of pressure needs to be placed on management to fix things that are broken (ex: crumbling walkways, broken apliances) Management communication on apartment issues is also incredibly lacking (took them months to fix broken staircase next to our unit, they really didn’t bother to communicate about what steps were being taken until after we had a city inspector come and make sure it was safe) I have personally had to reach out in order to get leases sent to me, no communication otherwise. We had a walkway collapse and they didn’t say anything about what was being done to get it fixed until we reached out with concern asking about it. It feels like they don’t care until we bring up concerns which is not how it should be when you own a property. Recently, our fridge broke. We were able to get a “new” temporary fridge after 2 days, however, the fridge they put in is full of mold/missing parts and is overall disgusting to look at. It should not be acceptable to even temprarily have us use the fridge that they delivered. Wouldn’t reccomend this apartment to anyone honestly, especially after recent communication issues and safety concerns.
