My aparetment itself is great with big windows as most of the units do not have that and the location is great. That is as far as the postives go for the Heir though. The single elevator broke down for over a month and we were not offered any sort of comensation nor even an apology at least stating delays happen. The stair landings are all double because of the high ceilings so if you live on a higher floor you basically had to climb 10 flights of stairs to get to your place which unfortunately many can not do. There is no parking with the apartment but you can pay 40 a month to park at the garage a block away. You can hear a lot of the noise neighbors make through the deceptively thin walls and the windows do a poor job at silencing the busy noise of the city outside. The lobby for some reason always smells and the rooftop although it has a great view- has a communal indoor spot that also smells and then on the deck for whatver reason the static electricity runs rampant presumably from all of the HVAC systems surrounding it. They do the classic rent increase after a year but keep all other units the same price as when you move in. They also do have a pool that is in the alley next to their dumsters in which the area also smells like dog since most walk their pets out the back. In conclusion most of the units themselves are nice, but the ammenities do not add much value and God help you if you have a problem as the owners could literally care less and know that if you leave some unkowing soul will fill the spot as we did.
