I have lived here for about 8 years. As frustrating as it has been of late to live here, it's only proper to share the pros if im going to list cons as well
PROS:
Good location. If you need to use public transport, it's got great access to rail (West Falls Church) and various bus routes. Whether you drive or use public transport;you don't have to go far for things like groceries, eating out, or finding office buildings with doctor's offices. Roughly 30mn drive from DC; Building maintenance that will inspect if not resolve the issue in 1 - 2 days on average;Easy access to -trash and recycling receptacles;has 2 elevators
a more than respectable gym (in building no less)
CONS:
Elevators frequently break down. If it's something that can't be resolved in like a week, you can bet it'll be out for over a month;
the front entrance door into the lobby area often breaks down so key fobs are useless;The system for buzzing people in is problematic. It requires a specific aspect and main office is not responsive when you need to have it re-evaluated;There are no weekend hours to speak face-to-face with property managers anymore. You're restricted to finding way to see them during weekdays;kitchens are small and you have very little counter space;not all windows come with an insect screen. ;5 washers and 5 dryers in total (one of each from Lobby to 5th fl). The company that manages them does not keep up well in this building. They're broken more than not and their turn around time to fixing them is abysmal. Unless any of those cons are deal breakers, you should definitely check out the property yourself and see if this works for you.
