Animal Screening Each animal profile requires the animal’s name, a photo, current vaccination records, and microchip information (if applicable). Restricted Breeds As an industry liability standard — not a judgment of any individual animal — the following breeds, and mixes of them, are restricted: Pit Bull breeds (American Pit Bull Terrier, Staffordshire Terrier, etc.), Rottweiler, Akita, Mastiff / Bullmastiff breeds, Alaskan Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Chow Chow, Wolf Hybrid, Great Dane, Presa Canario, and Cane Corso — plus any additional city-specific breed restrictions. This list does not apply to approved Emotional Support or Service Animals. Assistance Animals Emotional Support & Service Animals Assistance animals are not pets. They are reasonably accommodated for any lease holder or occupant; are exempt from Pet Fees, Pet Rent, breed restrictions, and PetScreening charges; and are verified through the same PetScreening application at no cost. A signed letter from a qualified professional establishing the need is required.
