The place is gorgeous, but onsite service is never here. Front office is closed more often than open. I have several maintenance requests open. And nothing has been fixed except for a battery in a fire alarm. There is no maintenance . They have a wonderful porter who is doing his best to be a full maintenance team. 99% of the people who live here are wonderful. the 1% that isn't are destructive vandals who have a vendetta against the public bathrooms. Laundry room on site is contracted out to a company who never fixes things and has an app you can put money on to use the washers and driers, but the app won't activate the machines. and there is 100% no way to get your money back from them. We have $40 sitting in the app and can't use it or get it back. Trash chute system is novel for the first few times until it is backed up or the room where the chute is has trash all over the floors due to the chute being backed up. You have key fobs for the main doors and your apartment instead of having to bother with keys. but all the main doors other than the front one are broken so if you don't have a fob you can just yank on them and they will open, so no one uses their fob on them they just yank. the HVAC for the common areas is not covered under your rent, you will be charged extra to pay for the heating and cooling of the common areas. But! it is low income housing so at least its cheep.. *shrug*
