FaTT

My wife and I lived in the back of the building (furthest from the street). We really like how quiet it is at night. However, there is a generator behind the building that will turn on in the day and can be pretty loud. I really like the layout of the apartment, and how high the ceilings are. We are the only apartment that I know of that can open a window, and that was nice during the summer (though there were lots of spiders outside of our windows at some points and no screen, though, which limited the niceness). The kitchen is very nice. The rent was reasonable. Having El Sol on the ground floor was very nice for days that I didn't feel like cooking. The lights on the street outside are cute. Downtown Harrisburg feels pretty empty, which can be both a plus and a minus. Circa 2024, it feels like commercial real estate is in a tough spot. The city itself is very quiet, and I'm not quite certain about long term jobs prospects here. I wish that the shower had a curtain, as it tends to make a little puddle in the bathroom, and the bathroom itself feels like it could have more insulation (it gets a bit cold in the winter).
