Akoya

The location is fantastic. The apartment itself is nice. The hot tub is great (when its clean and working). Rules about the pool and hot run are not enforced, meaning its harder to enjoy it sometimes, but overall we enjoy it. The gym is great. The mail situation is improving, but needs work. Our car was broken into when we first moved in and my bike was stolen out of the bike room even though it was chained up. The managment only gave one month of free parking for that, even though there IS an expectation of security in that garage and they are charging an arm and a leg for the “privilege” of parking here. They have since imrpoved security slightly by adding a keyfob pad to get from the lobby into the garage. However, the mythical nightly security has yet to make an appearance. As to staff, Adam is fantastic and the place would fall apart without him. We would have left already if it wasnt for him and his ability to get stuff done and manage people. Don’t know why he isn’t manager yet. Besides Adam, the staff is as mediocre as the staff was before Avenue5 took over.
