Maintnence doesnt always finish or do the job like a proffesional would. Covering up mess rather than finding the source of the issue. Ive had staff be rude to me for things im unaware of, been accused of things ji have no idea about. The washer and dryer have eaten my cash without running which is incredibly annoying since i dont have lots of quarters these days in a cashless world. Rent was raised when the building is in worse condition today than it was when we moved in. Its been very disappointing. The units are neat with their own character though. Close access to highways. I dont believe its worth the price though. I felt taken advantage of with higher prices, almost being forced to pay for repairs i have nothing to do with, and the attitude from the workers that do come around. I had high hopes for this and have been let down, disappointed, and very frustrated. If these things were different my review would also be drastically different. All tenants in these buildings know the owner doesnt care about what we need to keep the building in good shape. We know shes more interested in her other projects and chooses not to oay for repairs when we need them due to “being cheap” as neighbors have put it to me, the week i moved in. I can see it for myself now though. She waited till after a storm to claim insurance money on a back deck that was very dangerous for our animals… yet it was needing drastic repairs much longer before the storm came. When this was pointed out to her, she was rude and kept at her attempt to receive insurance money. Its difficult to let things like this go when the neighbors here are doing their best and yet this is what happens when you need to reach out to a landlord for something. Very uncomfortable and disappointing. Hoping for things to always turn around and feel like a valued tenant.
