Woodlands

This will be my third renewal with Woodlands by Elon. I’ve seen three different apartments at this location. All of carying quality. Mine feeling like the lowest quality. “Updated flooring” that consists of poorly cut and laid roll out wood grain facade linoleum. Outdated, peeling, and sloppily aligned wallpaper through out including the bathroom shower. Trim that is gouged, chipped, warped and again the installation leaves a lot to be desired. Outdated appliances, lights that dont work or short out in a week. There are no amenities other then a laundry facility I’ve seen once and opted against. Snow/ice removal was abismal this past winter. Residents leaving dogs unattended outside on leads affixed to the building. Not promptly cleaning up after their canines either. The front office was closed and we are expected to call the Elon property in Kent, OH. I've spoken with at least three different “office managers” since sogning my lease. On that note the communication between them seems lackluster. Ive meet teo different “maintenance” workers. One of which, Hank, seems to be spread quite thin. An older gentleman doing his best but to no avail at times. It took around 6 weeks to have wallpaper repaired which only did happen because I reached back out after having contacted management prior. I was told what with the weather(winter) everyones heating was having issues. Also that Hank had happened to of been ill. But instead of finding a replacement for that time we were expected to endure. Woodlands was at one time a reasonable option for its price but that is no longer the case.
