Parkview Villas I

Even though our rent was raised they took away a big item in maintenance. They will no linger do snow removal of our private walks even though that was part od the deal. The “ ownership” Co decided this winter to stop that servic3 ev3n though the sign out front says “ maintenance free”. Most of our neighbors are 60’s, 70’s and 80’s and now expected to shovel and salt when we moved here to not do that. They were very cagey and their readin was “most people dont let people in their front door but through the garage”. They do still plow that. That statement is an outright lie! I have NEVER been let in someones garage nor have i until they refused to keep up what they promisef. How would they even know that unless there were overhead drones watching us?.?? They also dont include grab bars in showere and tubs but continue to advertise for 55 and over. The rents are high and we wonder what promised service they will take away next. There are still some ammenities that were promised that have not materialized. The consteuction is so so. The current Maintenance Manager is great if you need him, the Leasing Agent is very nice. We never see the third Property Manager since weve been here as she doesnt attend any of the activities. All in all we wish we would have looked more before deciding. They bill it as Luxury Apartments. Having built 6 homes in our lifetime i assure you it is not. Many things were cheaply done and the ownership company is ALL about the money. Their money. Neighbors are nice. When you see a 80 ish woman out shoveling her walk it says it all! They dont care about their residents, just the money. So, all in all, nice idea but dont believe the hype. With no grab bars and the need to shovel ( everyone we know got rid of their shovels) this is not at all designed and executed for 55 and over. Prime heart attack ages for shoveling snow.

Sign for OUR SECTION of PARKVIEW VILLAS needs to be addressed No signs as you are coming from west. SIGN FACING EAST cannot be seen by delivery personnel, visitors, even mail. Seems like Zaremba is concentrating on Villa off Carter rd where Clubhouse etc is located. Your renters on BEECHWOOD LN and BELLA need a sign at Rt 82 so we can be located. We feel that we have been forgotten and street sign is only visible once you have entered development!
