Reviews summary
The community reviews for Mount Vernon Apartments highlight a mix of positive aspects and concerns. Many residents appreciate the property's location near shopping centers, the quiet atmosphere, and the friendly nature of the community. Some renters, particularly first-time apartment owners, find it a nice and respectable place to live with good amenities like ample parking and frequent maintenance efforts visible. However, noise levels, particularly from neighbors and pets, are a recurrent issue, with some complaints of loud arguments and barking dogs. Maintenance responsiveness receives mixed reviews; while some residents mention reasonable turnaround times, others report challenges in contacting maintenance for repairs. Management changes frequently, which some reviewers find unsettling. Issues such as smoking indoors, lack of enforcement of rules, and problems with amenities like the pool and parking lot maintenance are notable concerns. Overall, while the property has several appealing features and a friendly community, noise and inconsistent management are significant drawbacks for some residents.

Plowing needs to be done more often. the parking lot is covered with ice and many parking spots are not plowed. This could have been avoided.
Also, there are more than two renters with disabled parking permits and there are only two designated disabled parking spots. please add two more disabled parking to the front of my building. -Mount Vernon building in Washington Square.
Thank you
