Apartments at 400 Elmwood

This complex has some cons and pros. So this complex offers utilities in the billing and rent. With that price on Elmwood is a rare find. They location is amazing as it’s very walkable unlike the rest of the city. There is amazing neighbors and some that aren’t so favorable but avoidable. The staff tends to be very mixed however. This property can charge you if they hire an attourney against you. So if you have an agreement they’ll prolong it until prices rack up. As for the maintenance they’re pretty cool. They fix major issues but don’t really exceed outside of major building problems. Which is understandable because the heating problem that happens often even during the winter and the break downs the buildings have are frequent. Unsanitary conditions on the courtyard where dogs and other various creatures arrive due to the trash there happens all too often. Sweating walls during the winter still happen. Packages get stolen enough for it to be noticed. Low water pressure in the showers and it takes a while to heat up. All that to say is you get what you pay for. This is to warn you of the things you may deal with. If any is a dealbreaker walk away. And if this doesn’t bother you it’s perfect for you.

I love how the apartment is set up, there is bad parking and overall the noise level is decent it’s really the outside noise. i don’t mind living here because maintenance fixes anything you that you ask and the neighbors are very friendly

I love that utilities are included in the rent. I have also had very positive and quick experience with maintenance when I’ve had issues. I’m not pleased with the new lockout policy and if I had a car a think the lack of parking would be a concern for me. But overall I love this apartment, it’s in a great location and think it’s high quality for the price especially in this neighborhood!
