The Artisan at Lawrenceville

I could not recommend staying farther away from this place. Less than one month after moving in, bathroom tiles began falling off the wall due to moisture issues. Mold was discovered during repairs in that bathroom, and similar issues occurred 3 more times during my 11-month tenancy. I also dealt with a kitchen leak that was reported in February and not fully resolved until April. When the wall was finally opened, mold was discovered behind it. Communication was consistently frustrating. I was given maintenance phone numbers that did not work, later learned that resident voicemails were not being monitored, and often had to chase down updates on repairs myself. In one case, I had to escalate an issue to corporate before receiving a resolution. Other frustrations included paid parking with limited availability, overflowing dumpsters, abandoned shopping carts throughout the property, and apartment entry notices that provided multi-day windows with no indication of when my unit would actually be visited. I often had to change my work schedule to accommodate the apartment. I had to get written notices for my manager from the apartment because it was I believe able how many times this occurred in under a year. For the “luxury” rent price charged (not to mention amenity and parking fees to boot), the experience did not come close to meeting expectations.
