Union Grove Apartments

I can start with my first building i lived in… 1306 was actually the worst experience of my recent life. The person living above me had 3 dogs and the person next to me had argued with their wife alot and a crying baby and everything was heard, the people across from me didn't seem to take care of their kids properly at all. I was dealing with all of that while working 2 jobs…. Then come to find out towards the end of my lease and i was able to move that the reason i had kept getting so sick was because there was water leaking into my apartment and my bed was on the floor, i broke out in hives multiple times and there was black mold under my bed… not to forget the pipes always clogged up on the bottom floor of the building and were several times i had to go to wawa just to go… my new building in 1204 is 10x better and on the 2nd floor, ive had multiple problems with heat in both buildings during the winter and had to complain about it multiple times to the point i didnt feel like complaining about it anymore, my bath tub had black mold in it that i constantly have to keep cleaning with bleach but im not getting sick so its fine… i guess. Property management sometimes doesn't seem to understand that these buildings are highly outdated with many many issues… im not very happy about the amenity internet being applied after i got my bill down to 38 dollars a month… but they will match that for a year. I make about 21-2200 a month, the fact that my rent is 1650$ this year is insane for the quality…. Right around the corner you can pay 1800 for a brand new complex across from the train station with a crazy amount of amenities. Id also found out there are multiple other residents thats rent did not go up when mine has. So put yourself im my shoes and try to understand why im not exactly thrilled.
