I love it here with very few excptions. The first one is a request that I have been making for the past 8 years. Tee laundry room needs an air conditioner. It is so hot in there most of the time, but expecially in the summer fromaround the first or April clear up to the end of September. The second is also the laundry room. Those machines need to bed raised at least 16

I had typed a lengthy review and hit the finish button in error. Maybe this can be added to that one for a complete review?? I was addressing the washers and dryers. They need to be elevated 18-20 inches off the floor. Many of us have back issues. It would be a great help to us if we could get the clothes out of the washers and dryers without re-injuring our backs or causing further pain. My main complaint is the heat. I live on the third floor of Cocheco Park in Dover. The heat runs in the winter time and it is so HOT on this floor that it is like having to unzip the air to breathe. It is a sauna. This is rediculous that a few people cannot put on another layer to stay warm. Instead, the rest of us cook because we can't take any more layers off. Please, can we keep the heat at a comfortable temperature, like 70*, so we can ALL be comfortable?????? The other complaint, and I am not alone in this one, is: We need an air conditioning unit in the laundry room. If YOU had to do your laundry up there during the summer, YOU would insist on air conditioning. We are still living, breathing people, and we deserve to be comfortable too. I hope this note does not fall on deaf ears. I appreciate the fact that you at least send out these surveys and get our feelings. Thank you for listening.

For the most part, I feel very happy here. There have been two negative instances with the elevator(s) being unusable, and the residents had to walk up and down the car ramp. We are elderly people. This was not a good situation. There is the ongoing problem with people leaving the garage door open. How hard is it to look in the rear-view mirror and push the automatic garage door button to close the door. I do not feel at all secure when I come home later in the evening when it is dark to find the door has been left open. What can be done about that? We did get new washers and dryers (thank you so much), but they need to be elevated about 18-20 inches

I am very content living here. The people are friendly and respectful. The staff are helpful and considerate, and address problems in a timely manner. I have lived here for 7 years now. I would recommend this location to anyone who appreciates a non-smoking environment that is close to downtown. We have had a few bumps in the road with regard to supervisors, but POAH has kept someone here in charge of affairs and things are running smoothly. I hope we have a permanent authority soon. Michelle is doing a fantastic job keeping things together for us. I really appreciate her. Marcos is also a mainstay, a hard worker, and capable and willing to do what is necessary as far as maintenance goes. Very likeable, both of them. Sometimes it does get noisy when the bars close, and the new parking garge across the street seems to be a convening place for hot-rodders to make noise. I do wish the police department would put a stop to that, but my phone calls seem to fall on deaf ears. That is the main drawback to this location. Parking for visitors close to the building is the other issue. Most of the parking spots are handicap reserved for 15 miutes. It's hard to have visitors when they have to pay for parking or walk across the street to get to this building, especially in bad weather or in the winter. There needs to be open parking in front of the building so everyone has access to us and to the businesses in this building. I hope these issues are addressed as a result of this writing. Other than these, it is a great place to live.
Cocheco Park is approximately 3 minutes away by car from the city center.
