Pelican Cove

This apartment community is the best community in North County! Karen has the best personality! She is hard working and really works hard for the community. Niomi is also very thoughtful and caring. Maintenance staff is the best!

I’ve lived at Pelican Cove in Florissant, MO, for over five years and have had a mostly positive experience. The community is friendly and feels safe for the most part, which is important to me. The property is generally quiet, and parking is ample, so finding a spot is never an issue. Maintenance service is hit or miss—it depends on the request, but they do eventually get things taken care of. As for amenities, there are two swimming pools and a clubhouse. While residents can no longer reserve the clubhouse for personal use, the community does host events there, which is a nice touch. The fitness center is available, but the equipment is very old and outdated. On the plus side, the playground and grilling/picnic area are well-maintained and nice features. One of the things I love most about my apartment is the fireplace, vaulted ceilings, walk-in closet, and the fact that my two-bedroom unit has two vanities—it makes getting ready so much more convenient. I also love that I can see the school bus stops right from my window, which is a nice added convenience. Another great feature is that the community is pet-friendly. They have designated pet waste stations with bags, making it easy for residents to clean up after their dogs while enjoying a walk. Unfortunately, I lost my pet, but I always appreciated having a place where pets were welcome. I can’t comment much on the staff since I rarely see or interact with them. In terms of value, rent is reasonable for what you get, though some updates—especially to the fitness center—would improve the overall experience. Overall, I like living here and would recommend it to others looking for a quiet, safe community with decent amenities.
