Apartments on Mound

This apartment was built very rushed to put it lightly. Shoddy work with very cheap materials. Don’t let the stock photos fool you, the apartment used for the photos could be the only unit that was not rushed to be finished. There are cracks in my wall, my counter has separated from the caulking and it has yet to be addressed. Under my oven was trash left by the construction workers. The floor is uneven and the baseboards aren’t flush to the ground. The water pipes leading to the washing machine is literally just a hole in wall, no outlet box. Just an eye sore of a hole. The walls are paper thin causing me to hear every conversation my neighbors are having. The door is hollow and the door frame is attached with two measley nails on each end that could be pulled off relatively easy. The breaker box was mislabeled, which was a joy to find out. The annoyance of constant inspections. I’ve lived in other apartments and have never experienced so many unit inspections. Amenities? There are none. If these apartments were priced around $600 I would not complain but for the price I pay each month this is deplorable. It’s very obvious that this apartment complex was hastily slapped up.
