Lake Forest Apartments

I love my neighbors, the amenities that include a gym, heated pool, club house, free coffee, volleyball and tennis courts, dog park, closeness to restaurants , shopping, recreation, and medical facilities. The location is quiet, and next to a local library. There is a laundry room in each stairwell. I used to live here in 2013 and the rent was waaay cheaper at $750.00 per month and it's now in 2025 $1400.00 per month for the same type of two bedroom apartment with a smaller kitchen. I wish they were more fair with me in that regard considering my past with them.

I've never dealt with any noise problems. It's always been quiet, abs for the most part well kept. I do however feel that the back of the apartment complex does not recurve as much attention as the front or the model apartments. The staff has always been understanding and kind. The gym, pool, and patio area in the office has always been kept up and clean. I live the events that are put on for the residents here.

It's very quiet and cozy. Everyone mind their own business for the most part and is mostly respectful of others. The gym, pool, and lounging area are the best amenities in this community. The gym, however, has a lot of older equipment that works, but is still quite outdated. The working staff are respectful, pleasantly nice, and hard working. My complaint is that maintenance towards the back of the community is not as kept up as well as the front area. Also, there is a lack of communication between Lake Forest and the water billing company. The company will send a bill to you by email and mail, although water is paid through rent. If you do not pay attention, you can possibly end up paying the same bill more than once. Since the community is close to quite a few houses, some of their trash finds its way to our grounds whenever it is windy. Other than that, it's a pretty nice place to live.
