I have lived in Beechwood Apartments for approximately 1.5 calendar years. The apartment is not worth what you have to pay for it. It's that simple. You pay ˜$900 a month for a small apartment. On top of the ridiculous price the service desk is only kind of responsive. One of the apartments I lived in here had broken blinds and was just generally more filthy than a previous apartment in the same building. I say that to convey the message that they do not seem to work super hard to fix up an apartment before you move in. If the previous residents broke minor things like handles on the closet doors, those things don't get fixed even after you move in. The maintenance guy (who is super nice) is either fast or eternally slow. I don't think that it's his fault though I think they don't budget enough for repairs. There are some good things too. If you can get a renovated apartment the kitchen is rather nice.
During my time living here the apartments have changed ownership. This acquisition was poorly communicated to residents. We found out we needed to go and pick up new keys only 1-2 days before we needed to do so.
That being said, the employees seem nice. Sometimes it's frustrating being serviced by undergrads who sometimes are a bit clueless/disorganized but they're at least understanding most of the time. There don't seem to be any crazy parties in/around the building so that is nice.
