I have lived in these apartments for a year and a half also lived here when I was 15 (18 years ago). When I first in I loved the place, the manager at that time was wonderful to me. She helped me get in, my first place on my own with two kids, after leaving an abusive marriage. The building was kept up and I loved my apartment. I had requested a 3 bedroom as I have two children a girl and a boy. One a teenager and one a small child so they need their own room I was told there was none available, but there was a waiting list and first come first served. After that manager left last year the building went to hell. Everything is falling apart, it smells, can NEVER catch anyone in the office, and I have been asking about that apartment since I moved in to make sure and when I found out the tenant was moving soon I asked again. This building has such potential and the higher helps can help when they actually get back with you. Maintenance is fine they're just runned to death. It is a beautiful historic building in a wonderful location with shops, river view and a nice area to walk. I love living here, there are a good amount of neighbors that are extremely nice and helpful. I just want things kept up and for someone to get back with me about the apartment. I don't think that will happen.
