The property has been under some ownership changes over the years, and each staff have always been amazing! Most of my issues are due to the way apartments are usually handled, prepared for renters and were present on move-in. Such as cabinet paint that is not proper and peels like rubber over time. Those cabinets are driving me insane as the paint was not done smoothly and the yellow plastic undertones show through the thick coats. Once it starts peeling, it just keeps peeling. Very sloppy caulking and painting on porch door that is yellow and smeared on the glass until I scraped it a bit more smoothly, Not by the current owners or staff. A few agreements have been made in the past such as an accent wall or carpet shampooing that did not happen, due to bad timing and ownership changes. Now it is a little late for the accent wall, but we did finally get a carpet shampoo from the current ownership and staff! I really miss the office being able to accept packages to save a trip to the post office. I miss frequent office raffles. I am extremely grateful for the new laundry machines, even if a unit with a hookup would be best. Some of the older apartments with long term residents could probably be updated, as they tend to get left behind with appliances, carpet colors, window replacements, etc. Our windows have never been great and leak water/air like crazy. I am tired of the caulk/strip solution and it doesn't last long. I also think removing the mini-gym downstairs was very sad, as TV was always an option down there. Just needed a new treadmill that didn't squeak so much. We have used the BBQ grills though! Amazing feature. I love how much light comes into the apartments. Not a great area of town anymore, but so much better and feels nicer than other surrounding complexes at the same price. I feel picky and awkward asking about these things, but they are the little things that have ever led me to look around at other complexes. Thank you to staff for all you do!
