Recently moved here. Have a lot of friends who've lived here before. The location is not going to get any better. However, some home appliances and gymnasium look very dates and may need an overhaul. Other than that, great place to stay.

These properties demand top dollar for the Rockford market. Located in a convenient area of Rockford there are parks, shopping, restaurants and a little bit of nightlife nearby. As far as the apartments themselves the refrigerators are small especially if you have more than two people living in the unit. (The freezer space is very small and there is no ice-maker). Second there are issues with the air conditioning. The upstairs gets very very warm. I would not recommend these apartments if someone plans on using the upstairs full-time. If it’s being used for just a temporary guestroom, storage and for use of the office then I would say it’s more than sufficient. Maintenance is a little bit slow getting to your requests, and for the price that we pay the groundwork could use improvement. The company that takes care of the lawn is messy, the flowerbeds mostly are free to grow weeds etc. for most of the season, there are dead trees throughout the property and even though there is a watering system the grass certainly doesn’t show it. Compared to some surrounding ares (Bello Reserve) this property is definitely not as nice as it could be if they took better care of the outside. Thankfully they are finally upgrading the way we can pay rent previously it was just direct deposit or dropping a check, cashiers check or money order in the box at the office. The office staff is very nice, it is an animal friendly community however they do make exceptions with certain aggressive breeds of dogs which I don’t like. I have heard of incidents with some of these breeds on the grounds, and I myself experienced one with my dog being attacked. It’s nice for the people who have a hard time finding places to live with their aggressive breeds, but for everyone else it’s a risk, I hope the management starts weeding these breeds out. Overall I would give this property a 7.5/10 Happy Hunting!
