Redwood Oswego

I came from a community that had a pool, dog park, workout center as well as smart thermostat/entry doors. As much as I like the single floor layout and two car garage (which is short and won’t fit a pick up truck), the price is too much for what you get. It’s a nice quiet neighborhood. I feel safe. Pet friendly. Great location. However, rent has substantially gone up and management is looking to make extra profits just because they’re Eunice are fully rented..Tenants such as myself that want the longest lease term,, pay more than those with a lesser term lease agreement. I’ve never experienced that anywhere I’ve lived before. The longer you stay, the best deal you get. Not here.! Started feeling good about this place over a year ago, now not so much. I also don’t like that maintenance does not give you any notice when they’re coming. They give you a several day window, but could walk in in any moment. Will probably be looking for a new place next year. I had so much hope for this place when I moved in over a year ago.

Been at Redwood Oswego for 6 months now and it has been a rough unpleasant experience! Jay and Pat (maintenance) are attentive. Kim (Property Manager) is prompt to answer messages but highly controlled by the Regional Manager. Stephanie (Regional Manager) has zero resident relations skills and needs to learn about customer service. Very dismissive and dodges questions. Never once did she come to my unit to see the issue first-hand. Even the Property Manager didn’t come to my unit until almost 2months in to the issue. Took 1month+ to have the washer/dryer delivered and installed that I rent for $50/month. Brand new unit and had issues with the heat, during the winter, almost immediately. 3 service calls to get it fixed. Been dealing with a “sewer odor” for 2 months. Still a lingering odor! I was never told 100% was the issue actually was. Very hush hush! I asked for a written report-NOTHING! Had to leave work-even took off a day to accommodate their schedule numerous times. Holes in 3 walls-missing cap on an overflow drain. What fumes were me and my family inhaling? Had to disinfect and deodorize on a daily basis. Could not have family/friends over because of the overwhelming smell. Could not live in my unit and enjoy my home for 2 months! All clothes/towels had to washed before using because of the odor. It was in everything! Even had a washer mishap after it was disconnected and not reconnected properly-water everywhere! Then I was critiqued because I didn’t report it through the main #. Still waiting on the contact #s for the Regional Manager and her superior. This is unheard of! Received 1 credit (which I had to fight for)! My unit pretty smelled like a sewer and I was told it wasn’t a health issue…Really? I don’t think any one of them would live in these conditions-especially at $2700/month! I asked them all that question with no response of course. Rent should have been comped.
