I have lived here 5 years. I am really glad for the new management. Chelsey appears to care about the tenants here and their satisfaction with living here. I personnel need the storage room for holiday decorations and such so I do not have a washer or dryer however, the public laundry mat is only 3 blocks away so that is very handy.
I am concerned though with the fact every since I have lived here there is an issue in my power box -where the fuses are located. The previous manager said that Leisure Village is very aware of the situation. When the electrician was here investigating why my breakers continued to trip. right after I moved in - well it took her over 30 days to call the electrician. He found the heating/cooling system was pulling 40 amps on a 20 amp breaker and they changed that. However There is a breaker that does not work. It is a GFi that is wired to the plug that my washer would plug into (I actually have a small freezer plugged in there. Maintence came and check it out and said to change it would cost over $100.and would not make any change. My concern is that with the breaker not working I am not protected There is a yellow information sticker indicating that very thing in the breaker box . Not working properly and not being protect warns me that it is a fire hazard and I simply do not understand why Tomlinson & Associates (as big as they are) have not corrected the problem. I asked Chelsey about it and she did not even know maintence had been here. Which brings me to another issue--those maintence request we fill out and put in the box have a place for the tentant to sign when the work is completed However, we are not allowed the opportunity to sign them. I certainly hope this reveiw does not cause hard feeling and I am evicted because I just gave a true and heartfelt reveiw-one I was forced to write before being able to continue in the app.
