Tessa Barrow Crossing offers considerable rental value when compared to markets in States where comparable rents are for an 800 sq ft one bedroom unit. The ample amenities also provide additional bonus. However, one major downside is the lack of overflow parking as the streets are narrow and additional cars cramp the already limited space. The developers designed these townhomes to accommodate 2 vehicles per unit as evidenced by the single driveway and one car garage. Problem is most 3 and 4 bedroom units house many more people and GA is a car dependent state. So, the lack of parking creates more issues for narrow streets.
After two months the issue with repairs concerning the community facility latch locks as well as the communal Wi-Fi (co-worker spaces) still pervades and remains unresolved. The TV monitors in all 3 rooms remain unconnected to the internet and unable to browse due to poor connectivity. The gym also needs some more upkeep. Sanitary wipes need frequent replacement. Cycle pedal is still broken. Restrooms need more napkins changed and soap on numerous occasions.
Overall thus far, the community is extremely quiet and nose free. Security is maintained now that the entrance gates have been repaired, despite the extended time to enact the solution. A tech and parts issue. Maintenance is quick to respond and repair any issue and residents seem courteous and well mannered with no excessive personal drama which often pervades and degrades rental communities.
Only time will tell how the community maintains it's tranquility as the vacancy rate has been consistent thus far and once at capacity how much of a negative impact the overcrowding will have in terms of excess cars, lack of parking as well as noise levels.
