Currently looking for an apartment and came across this place online. I went here after work and the staff was friendly and helpful. I decided to get a tour today and I enjoyed viewing the different apartments available. Janet was very nice and informative about the spaces. It was definitely worth my time to visit. Thank you

Good or Bad?? You decide

While I hate leaving reviews, I feel it's necessary at this time due to the circumstances of my previous experience. I absolutely appreciate Ms. Tashonna for all that she does! She's very attentive and anytime I communicate with her, she's quick to respond. She should be the face of Manchester Place Apartments. That's the good/great...now, to the bad. My family moved from an apartment unit into a townhome in this community. We moved in August, so it was still hot outside. Coming into the fall/winter months, we realized the heat isn't working downstairs. Outside of the office, just driving by, I spoke with a maintenance worker about it, just seeing if that's something I could put a work order in for. He stated he has the same issue, and doesn't know how to fix it. Moving forward, I reached out to the office and a different maintenance worker came and basically did something with the water heater, turned the thermostat up, and thought it would do the trick. Yesterday, we were expecting someone to come out, and they didn't. I rushed from work to beat closing time, only to be dismissed by the new "Property Manager." He actually stated that if a contractor came out and didn't find an issue, I would be charged. First off sir (James), these apartments are OLD as you know what. So, if a paying (early/on time) tenant tells you that something isn't working, especially the heat during the time we're expecting bad weather, you don't shut them down, you try to resolve the issue. I was very upset instantly, and asked for a corporate number from another nice woman, Ms. Nakia. She called someone immediately, but unfortunately, it still wasn't something he could fix. He even had some kind of reader to feel if something is blowing, and it WASN'T. I wouldn't waste anyone's time, so guess what James...we need a contractor to come out, thank you! I'm not sure why some properties have people in positions that truly don't care about the residents. So, good or bad...you decide.
