PLEASE READ!!!! I am trying for the life of me to figure out why this place is not rated at a 1. They even have staff on here putting in reviews just to try to keep the rating at a 3.4. This place is a joke! The great 5 star reviews I understand, because those people lived here at a time the company that owned this place actually did their jobs and cared about their residents. I've lived here for two years and have seen 10 different property managers in rotation due to the foul activity and way that Highland Vista treats its tenants. I have had the same issues since I've moved in and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ABOUT THEM FOR 2 Years!! You can put in a maintenance request and even go up to the office and they over promise and never deliver! But they expect their rent to be on time! At one point they fraudulently changed everyone's lease without their knowledge and if you didn't have a copy of the original that was signed you knew nothing was changed. There are gun shots every month, people drive through here while our kids are out playing at dangerous speeds, the police are called at least 3x a week, the apartments are falling apart every day with a new issue arising, they invade your privacy without notice, there is a bad mold issue, the gutters are falling off of buildings, the roof isn't fixed from the storm, there are bad infestations, a BS common electric charge, the pool hasn't been open for the past two years, there is no fitness center, there is dog poop everywhere and the container hasn't been emptied since I've moved in here, and the trash receptacles never get dumped on time creating a huge fly issue, and guess what, THEY PLAN TO DO NOTHING ABOUT ANY OF THE ISSUES! I have been promised remedies every time I go to the office and quite frankly I'm tired of talking to people! At this point taking them to civil court is the only form of legal recourse that can be taken because I don't appreciate my money being played with!
