Former Resident

I was one of the first tenants to move into Saltaire Apartments, and after living here, I would strongly discourage anyone looking for a “luxury apartment” experience from renting here.
The biggest issue is the management and upkeep of the property. The grounds have been poorly maintained for months — overflowing trash cans, dog waste throughout the property, and inconsistent lawn maintenance. Residents are charged for services like lawn care and pest control, yet those services often appear neglected or nonexistent.
Management selectively enforces rules depending on who is complaining. Residents are restricted over minor things, while larger issues throughout the community are ignored. Amenities are frequently used by non-residents, and security/enforcement feels almost nonexistent.
The maintenance staff spends more time driving around in golf carts than addressing resident concerns, and getting real issues resolved is frustratingly difficult. Communication from management is disorganized, especially regarding garage and storage rentals. Multiple residents have openly discussed inconsistencies with leased spaces and billing.
Another major concern is the tenant screening and overall decline in the community atmosphere. Police are regularly called to the property, and many long-term paying residents have chosen to leave because management seems more interested in filling units than maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment.
The most disappointing part is that Saltaire markets itself as a luxury community, but the reality falls far short. If you are relocating, building a home, or looking for a peaceful apartment experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
